You Know the Industry. We Build the Company.

SodaSoft partners with domain experts to co-found B2B software companies. You bring deep industry knowledge and buyer access. We handle everything else — product, design, engineering, and go-to-market.

Most founders fail not because the idea is wrong, but because building a software company requires skills outside their expertise. SodaSoft eliminates that gap. We are not consultants. We are co-founders with skin in the game — we succeed only when you succeed.

Why SodaSoft Is Different

We are not an agency, accelerator, or freelance marketplace. Here is what sets us apart.

Co-Founders, Not Contractors

We take equity and share the risk. Our incentives are aligned with yours — we only succeed when the company succeeds. No hourly billing games.

Full-Stack Execution

Product strategy, UI/UX design, frontend, backend, infrastructure, QA, deployment — all handled by one team. No coordination overhead for you.

Revenue From Day One

We build for paying customers, not for demo days. Every product ships with a real go-to-market plan and targets revenue within weeks of launch.

You Keep Control

You own the company. You own the domain expertise. We provide the technical execution and business scaffolding. Clear roles, no power struggles.

What We Bring

Everything needed to turn your market insight into a live, revenue-generating product.

1

Product Strategy

We define the scope, prioritize features, and create a roadmap that targets revenue — not vanity metrics.

2

Design & UX

Professional design system, responsive layouts, dark mode, accessibility — all built from day one, not bolted on later.

3

Engineering

Modern tech stack, clean architecture, automated deployments. Production-grade code, not prototypes.

4

Go-to-Market

Landing pages, onboarding flows, analytics, SEO, email infrastructure — everything needed to acquire and retain customers.

5

Operations

Legal templates, deal structures, financial modeling, investor materials — the business scaffolding most technical teams skip.

What You Bring

The things we cannot build ourselves — the pieces only you have.

1

Domain Expertise

Deep knowledge of your industry, its pain points, workflows, and unwritten rules that outsiders miss.

2

Buyer Access

Direct relationships with potential customers. You can get meetings, not cold emails. You know who writes the check.

3

Problem Validation

Evidence that buyers already pay for workarounds. Not a theory — real spending on imperfect solutions.

4

Weekly Commitment

At least 10-15 hours per week for collaboration, buyer feedback, and domain decisions. This is not passive investing.

5

Long-Term Vision

Willingness to iterate, pivot if needed, and build a real business — not just ship a feature and walk away.

Do You Qualify?

We are selective because focused partnerships produce better outcomes. Here is what we look for.

B2B Problem

You are solving a problem for businesses, not consumers. Enterprise, SMB, or vertical SaaS.

Named Buyers

You can name at least 5 specific companies or people who would buy this product today.

Existing Spend

Your target buyers already pay for a workaround — spreadsheets, manual processes, outdated tools.

Buyer Reach

You can get in front of 10 potential buyers within 30 days through your own network.

Available Time

You can commit at least 10-15 hours per week to collaborate, test, and sell alongside us.

Iteration Mindset

You are willing to start small, ship fast, get feedback, and adjust. Perfection kills startups.

Your Journey With Us

A structured, transparent process from first contact to live product. No black boxes.

01

Submit Intake

5 minutes

Fill out our venture intake form. Tell us about the market gap, the buyer, and your background. Takes less than 5 minutes.

02

We Review

5 business days

Our team evaluates market size, buyer urgency, competitive landscape, and founder-market fit. We respond to every submission.

03

Discovery Call

30 minutes

If there is a potential fit, we schedule a call. We dig deeper into the opportunity, answer your questions, and discuss deal structure.

04

Kickoff

Week 1-2

We sign the agreement, define the scope together, and start Discovery. Buyer persona, problem statement, scope rules, success metrics — all documented.

05

Build

Week 3-8

We design and build the product in weekly sprints. You see working software every week. Feedback is continuous, not a final surprise.

06

Launch & Grow

Week 9-10+

We launch to real buyers, measure results, and iterate. The goal is paying customers and a sustainable business, not a demo.

What to Prepare

Come ready. The more prepared you are, the faster we move.

One-Sentence Gap

Describe the market gap in one sentence. Who is the buyer, what is the pain, and why is the current solution inadequate?

Buyer Evidence

Who pays today for a workaround? Names, companies, or at minimum the buyer profile and what they currently spend.

Your Network

How can you reach 10 potential buyers in 30 days? Direct relationships, industry groups, conferences, LinkedIn connections.

Domain Background

Your experience in the industry. Years, roles, companies, specific expertise that gives you an unfair advantage.

Competitive Landscape

What alternatives exist? Direct competitors, indirect substitutes, and the manual processes buyers use today.

Why Now

What changed recently that makes this the right time? New regulation, market shift, technology enabler, or growing pain point.

When We Are Not the Right Fit

We would rather be honest upfront than waste your time. This is not for everyone.

  • You want to build a consumer app (B2C). Our entire process is optimized for B2B.
  • You cannot name a single buyer. If you do not know who pays, the idea needs more validation first.
  • You are looking for a dev shop to build your spec. We co-found companies, we do not take orders.
  • You have less than 8 hours per week available. Building a company requires active participation.
  • You expect a finished product in 2 weeks. Quality software takes 6-10 weeks minimum.

If this does not describe you — great. But if it does, we recommend validating your idea further before applying.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need technical skills?

No. We handle all technical work — product, design, and engineering. You need domain expertise and buyer access, not coding skills.

How much equity does SodaSoft take?

It depends on the deal model. Studio Ventures typically involve 30-50% equity. Hybrid deals involve less equity plus a reduced cash component. We discuss this openly on the discovery call.

What if my idea changes during the process?

It probably will — and that is good. Discovery exists to refine the idea. Pivots during build are normal. We plan for flexibility, not rigidity.

How long before I see revenue?

Our target is paying customers within 10 weeks of kickoff. Some ventures achieve revenue faster, some take longer. It depends on the market and sales cycle.

Can I keep my day job?

Yes, if you can commit 10-15 hours per week. Many founders start while employed and transition as the venture gains traction. We structure the workload accordingly.

What happens if the venture does not work?

We define exit conditions upfront. If the market does not respond, we pivot or wind down — no hard feelings. The agreement covers these scenarios explicitly.
